Bryant Painting & Deck Restoration can make your gray, dirty old deck look new again or keep your new deck looking beautiful.Your deck was built to have fun on...So enjoy it and leave the work to us. It's back-breaking, time-consuming work to protect a new deck and even more difficult to restore a dirty old deck. Left untreated, your deck could become an expensive eyesore and a source of frustration. Your wood deck is exposed to the destructive elements of nature 24 hours a day. Rain, melting snow, and even dew are all absorbed into the wood, causing it to swell and expand. This moisture is the perfect breeding ground for mildew, algae and fungi. The prolonged dampness attracts dirt from atmospheric pollution and airborne fungal spores. The sun's harmful UV rays cause rapid evaporation of this moisture, which makes the wood contract and dry out. Since decks are horizontal surfaces, they hold water, snow and dew for longer periods of time and this accelerates the damaging effects. Decks get up to 40 percent more UV radiation from sunlight than comparable vertical surfaces. The temperature difference between the sun exposed top of the board and the shaded bottom can be as much as 50 degrees F. This constant cycle of wet/dry, expansion/contraction causes the wood to warp, crack, split and turn that unsightly gray color. The forces of nature can't be controlled, but the deck protection experts at Bryant Painting & Deck Restoration can control the harmful effects they have on your deck.
Two-Step Deck Restoration System Step 1: Restore
| To bring out the natural beauty of your deck, our experts first remove dirt, algae and mildew stains by cleaning it with their environmentally safe, biodegradable Premium Deck Cleaner and Wood Brightener are used. Pressure washing further removes the aged dried out wood.
